The Gamecube version have link with GBA version of Harvest Moon games so when you walk to end of valley, the Harvest Sprites will ask you to link with your GBA or not.īut for PS2 version, the end of valley has completely different purpose, to exit from the game since there is No Load option while you are in the game.Īlso, the Remake version have option to marry with the same gender so it is a big redemption for me as I want to play as a Boy character, married with the bachelor's and having a kid from a gay marriage. The Gamecube version you just only have 3 candidates of the girls and the boys, but the PS2 version you can marry Lumina as the 4th candidate, but PS2 version only available the Boy version, that means you only play as a Boy character and you have to find the girls to get married. The price of tree fruits and the seeds prices got reduced on PS2 version. The Gamecube version have a life stage of your kid that will be ended after 3 years (3 x 40 days in a year) but the PS2 version only have 1 year to finish each life stage. There are some changes from Gamecube version to PS2 version such as the time to finish each chapter. There are a variety of tools, some familiar from previous Harvest Moon games, some new.Remake version use the PS2 model which you can continue the game indefinitely after watching the Staff Roll but the Gamecube version, the game will be ended after Credit Roll and you cannot continue the latest save data because the game has been set to be finished and unplayable forever once you finished the storyline. This is unusual for a Harvest Moon game, as most allow players to buy things whenever they desire. There are no shops to buy things like tools, crops, and animals every Monday and Thursday a ferry is available to take the character to the mainland, where all of the shops reside. Harvest Moon 3 GBC takes place on an island, which has some mountainous regions, a grassland, a small village, and the farm where a lot of the game takes place. The girl's beginning shows her trying to save Harry's farm by taking control of it. The boy is a successful Rancher, living on the farm from Harvest Moon 2 GBC, who is asked by the mayor to help a girl on a nearby island run the farm of her father. The beginning and ending are different depending on which character the player chooses. The character may be chosen as a boy or a girl.
